Nvidia’s crypto problem is bigger than it admits, an RBC analyst says after crunching the numbers. “We think NVDA generated $1.95 billion in total revenue related to crypto/blockchain,” RBC analyst Mitch Steves said in a note out Wednesday. “This compares to company’s statement that it generated around $602 million over the same time period.”

Intel made interim Chief Executive Officer Robert Swan’s role permanent on Thursday, marking the first time the chipmaker has picked a leader who did not rise through the company ranks, sending Intel shares down and boosting rivals. Swan, 58, who was previously Intel’s chief financial officer, served as eBay CFO for nine years before a stint in private equity and joining Intel in 2016.

More business leaders in India have mature knowledge of using digital technologies to transform their business than leaders in countries such as Japan and France, according to a study which was conducted by Dell in collaboration with Intel and Vanson Bourne. They also say the the top barriers to adopt technology in India are data privacy and security concerns, regulation and legislative changes, lack of the right in-house skill sets and expertise.

Intel is in the fray to acquire Israeli networking infrastructure manufacturer Mellanox Technology for $6 billion in cash and shares, which constitute a 35 percent premium over its most recent valuation. Mellanox designs and manufactures infrastructure-scale networking hardware, such as high-bandwidth switches, adapters, and other data-center networking hardware, and when acquired by Intel.
