AMD “Zen 3” microarchitecture could be designed for the enhanced 7 nm+ EUV (extreme ultraviolet) silicon fabrication node at TSMC, which promises a significant 20 percent increase in transistor densities compared to the 7 nm DUV (deep ultraviolet) node on which its “Zen 2” processors are being built.

AMD will soon be celebrating its 50 years since its formal incorporation, and to celebrate this fact it appears there will be a 50th Anniversary Edition of the Ryzen 7 2700X processor. It’s not known if the special edition of the CPU will differ from the Pinnacle Ridge chip that was originally released in April of last year. 2019 marks the 50th anniversary of AMD which was founded back in 1969 and has been a pioneer of the computing world, delivering some of the most ground-breaking technologies to users around the globe.

AMD Readies 50th Anniversary Special Edition Ryzen 7 2700Xedit

AMD is celebrating its 50th Anniversary with a new commemorative special edition package of the Ryzen 7 2700X eight-core desktop processor. This package carries the PIB SKU number “YD270XBGAFA50.” American online retailer ShopBLT had it listed for USD $340.95 before pulling the listing down and marking it “out of stock.” The listing doesn’t come with any pictures or details about the SKU, except mentioning that a Wraith Prism RGB CPU cooler is included (as it normally is for the 2700X PIB package).

AMD’s next generation of Navi Graphics Cards might be launched at E3 in Juneedit

It’s been a long time since AMD’s upcoming Navi lineup of graphics cards were announced. However, it might soon be revealed in the next couple of months. While AMD is set to release the next generation of the Zen architecture – Zen 2 – at Computex 2019, it will also share some details about the Navi lineup at the trade show. According to Tweaktown, AMD is going to do a full reveal at E3 2019. This year’s E3 is scheduled just a few weeks after Computex 2019, between 12-14 June.
