AMD only revealed the bare-minimum details of their new Radeon RX Navi GPUs at their Computex keynote. It was mentioned that the graphics cards will be based on a new macro-architecture, the RDNA (Radeon DNA?) and like the Radeon VII and Zen 2 CPUs, will leverage TSMC’s 7nm process. Other than that the first party benchmarks were revealed showing that the top-end Navi was up to 10% faster than the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070.

AMD Zen 2 16 Core CPU Leaked Via Cinebench R15: 3rd Gen Threadripper?edit

AMD took the lid off its 3rd Gen Ryzen processors this morning, highlighting a 15% improvement in IPC over the Zen+ architecture. The Zen 2 CPUs feature higher clocks than their predecessors and do it while reducing the TDP, thanks to the efficient 7nm process. The A320 will definitely not be compatible with the new Ryzen 3000 processors (ever), while the decision to make B320 and X370-based boards Zen 2 ready will vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.

As has become a ritual over the past couple of decades, many of the biggest PC and chip makers on the planet, from Intel and AMD, alongside top PC makers like Asus and Dell have all gathered together to unveil the latest innovations in computing at Computex 2019 in Taipei. While there is a range of tech announcements coming from Taipei this week, here is what should excite you the most.

It’s also cheaper with its starting price tag of $1,350.
