AMD EPYC “Rome” Server Processors to Feature 8 to 64 Coresedit
At Computex 2019, AMD demoed the Ryzen 3000 processors and the 64-core EYPC “Rome” chip which seemed way faster than the competing Intel Xeon part, all the while keeping the power draw within acceptable limits. However, they didn’t talk about any of the lower-end Epyc CPUs, but fret not our trusty Twitter sources have shared the entire Zen 2 based Epyc lineup, and it’s more than a handful.

AMD Radeon Navi 14 with RDNA 1.0 to Power Low-end GPUs in the Futureedit
We’ve heard so much AMD’s Navi GPUs in past few weeks (both from official as well as non-official channels) that it’s hard to build a proper picture of the company’s graphics roadmap in the coming years. For starters, we know that the RX 5700 lineup will be powered by Navi 10, and Navi 20, otherwise known as big Navi will come next year with some form of H/W level support for ray-tracing. The same GPU will lie at the heart of the next-gen PS5 and Xbox Scarlett consoles and possibly compete with the top-end RTX 2080 Ti/RTX 2080 Ti Super.

18 LETTERS FROM READERS THAT WE LOVEDedit
I’ve been a computer buff since 1995 when I assembled my first computer. It was an AMD 386. It worked at a measly 40 MHz but was all of 7 MHz faster than Intel’s 33 MHz 386. Since then I have had an AMD K62 400 MHz and now I have an AMD Athlon 1.13 GHz. No regrets. My respect for AMD has only grown over time. Also, there’s another angle to all of this: Intel prices its CPUs higher than AMD, which means that both Intel and the vendor make more money (assuming their manufacturing costs are similar).
