Even more AMD Navi graphics cards leak ahead of official releaseedit

AMD has only announced two Navi graphics cards so far, but Sapphire, a popular aftermarket graphics card manufacturer, has registered trademarks for a bunch of new graphics cards. This includes the AMD Radeon RX 5950 and AMD Radeon RX 5900 – according to a tweet from hardware leaker Komachi, spotted by Videocardz.

AMD Patent Shines Raytraced Light on Post-Navi Plansedit

AMD patent may have just shown the company’s hand when it comes to its interpretation of raytracing implementation on graphics cards. The patent, titled “Texture Processor Based Ray Tracing Acceleration Method and System”, describes a hybrid, software-hardware approach to raytracing. AMD Ryzen 9 3950X Cinebench R15 Performance Spiededit

Market availability of the 16-core Ryzen 9 3950X may be far away, given its September 2019 launch, but engineering samples (ESes) of the chip seem to be already in circulation. “uzzi38” on Twitter posted this spy-shot of a 3950X ES making short work of Cinebench R15. CPU-Z recognizes the chip by its codename “Matisse,” and puts out the correct CPU core and thread count, but doesn’t give a name-string. It also recognizes the MSI MEG X570 GODLIKE motherboard this test is run on.

AMD Ryzen 7 3700X levels with Intel Core i9-9900K in Geekbenchedit

The Ryzen 7 3700X is one of the few Matisse chips that haven’t been getting that much attention from media outlets, and considering that it fits somewhere in the upper mid-range segment it’s not hard to imagine why. So to make up for that we are sharing the Geekbench score of the 3700X and compare it to Intel’s competing 9th Gen processors, and see how the mainstream Ryzen flagship holds up:

We’ve seen a ton of tests and benchmarks of the AMD Ryzen 5 3600, but not a single one of its higher clocked X sibling. TUM_APISAK shared the UserBenchmark of the 3600X on Twitter a few hours back, and we were able to get a look at the chip’s performance. It seems like the faster clocks help quite a bit when it comes to both gaming as well as effective or real-world performance.

In a recent submission to the Final Fantasy XV Benchmark database, upcoming new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super GPU has been benchmarked. The new submission is coming just a few days before the Super series officially launches. On benchmark’s tests, RTX 2070 Super has scored 7479 points at 1440p resolution on high quality settings, which is almost 12% increase from previous generation 2070, which scored 6679. The performance seem to be attributed to increased CUDA core count, which is rumored to increase about 11%, making the result seem pretty realistic.

The official performance chart for PassMark shows the Ryzen 5 3600 leading the pack, with 2,981 points, a score which is 1.77 percent higher than that of the Core i9-9900KF on the same chart.
