NVIDIA G-Sync vs AMD FreeSync: Which is Better?edit
One of the main differences between FreeSync and G-Sync is that the former like most of AMD’s technologies is OpenSource. It leverages the VESA Adaptive-Sync that comes along with Display Port 1.2a. As such, there are no penalties or royalties that need to be paid to implement FreeSync, allowing OEMs to integrate it into even the cheapest of monitors. The lower end FreeSync models cost less than 10K. G-Sync, on the other hand, is NVIDIA’s own proprietary technology. Earlier there was only one version that required a PCB from Green team to enable it.

AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT vs NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super: Which One Should You Buy?edit
This is actually new. Traditionally AMD GPUs have been superior when it comes to hardware but due to poor utilization and driver support haven’t been able to fully leverage it. With AMD’s RDNA architecture, gaming is the main focus, unlike GCN which was more compute-oriented. Although that’s not a bad thing, games mainly benefit from lower latencies, higher IPC and core clocks. This is exactly what the Navi cards focus on. As you can see, the specs of the two competitors are almost the same.

Next-gen Threadripper rumored to arrive on November 19edit
Though Videocardz couldn’t catch any new details about the chips, we can piece together plenty from recent leaks. On Tuesday, Komachi found a product list confirming 24-core and 32-core Threadripper processors, the former of which Apisak assigned the 3960X title on Wednesday, making the 3970X the 32-core monster. It’ll perform well, too, if an engineering sample Geekbench run is to be believed. The 3990X remains a little more mysterious. Best Budget PC Build Under Rs. 20,000: October 2019edit
Best CPU for 20K Best Build: AMD Ryzen 3 3200G APU. Since we’re limited to just 20,000 INR here, we’ll be sticking to an APU instead of a distinct CPU/GPU combo. Our recommendation is the AMD Ryzen 3 3200G. Based on the 12nm Zen+ architecture and the Vega 8 iGPU, it’s the most balanced processor available in this range. Keep in mind, you won’t be hitting 1080p 60 FPS with this system but 30-40 frames per second at low-medium should be doable.

Blow to hedge funds as software stocks crumbleedit
A favourite strategy of hedge funds that splits technology stocks into hardware and software makers has been sputtering for months. It finally blew up. The smart money piled into software shares such as Microsoft and Atlassian while cutting stakes in the likes of AMD and Intel for almost two years. The split created a dichotomy in exposure not seen since at least 2010, according to primary brokerage data from Morgan Stanley. Avoiding chips has burned fund managers since January as the group rallied 38%. And now, the outsize bet on software firms has stopped working, with some erstwhile high-flyers mired in declines exceeding 20%.

Recently with the release of the Navi cards from AMD, Nvidia is in a bit of a rough spot in terms of price to performance, with the Radeon RX 5700 XT and the 5700 being similar offering similar rasterizing power compared to the GeForce RTX 2070 Super and 2060 Super respectively, but also being available for lower prices. 12 Best Chromebooks You Can Buy in 2019edit
Lenovo Chromebook C330 is my first pick under this category because of its versatility at this price point. Lately, the problem with affordable Chromebooks is that one or two headline features are missing. If it has a touch screen display, it won’t be convertible; if it has a decent processor, there won’t be enough RAM, and so on. However, the Lenovo C330 is an anomaly here and comes with all the major features that you want in a standard Chromebook. You have an ARM-based MediaTek MT8173C processor which is very comparable to Celeron N3350, 4GB of RAM, touch screen display, Play Store support, and a convertible body. The only bummer is that you don’t get a Full HD screen, but ...
