AMD released the Ryzen 3000 series last year. While we usually see a new chipset accompanying a processor lineup launch, the mid-range B550 was missing at launch. The B550A motherboard was spotted in the wild at a Bestbuy pre-built PC recently, although the B550 was nowhere to be seen. There have been speculations about the release of the same since quite sometime and it seems like we are finally getting the B550 lineup.

The Red team launched its monstrous 7nm based 64 core Threadripper 3990X at the CES 2020 and now we have some Geekbench scores that convey the actual performance of this CPU. We already have seen the Threadripper 3970X ripping off the charts even scaring the Intel Xeon W-3175X server CPU. Intel has to worry a bit more because of the new Ryzen Threadripper 3990X which will not only create a record of being the fastest HEDT CPU but also put the older Intel Xeon CPUs to shame.
