Her first stint with AMD was in Austin in 1994. Jaya joined the company after completing her master’s in electrical engineering from University of Texas, Dallas.

Gigabyte AMD B550 and Intel Z490 Motherboards Listed at EECedit

AMD released the Ryzen 3000 series last year. While we usually see a new chipset accompanying a processor lineup launch, the mid-range B550 was missing at launch. The B550A motherboard was spotted in the wild at a Bestbuy pre-built PC recently, although the B550 was nowhere to be seen. There have been speculations about the release of the same since quite sometime and it seems like we are finally getting the B550 lineup.

If you are stunned with the title, so are we, already we got some leaked benchmarks of the new Ryzen Threadripper 3990X which was indeed impressive but lacked behind the Xeon W-3175X, so we doubted the genuineness of it as because the Ryzen CPU will be the best one with its massive 64 cores and 128 threads. Now we see the AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3990X scoring 1836.90GOPS against Xeon W-3175X’s 1001.78GOPS in Processor Arithmetic Benchmark which accounts to over 80% better performance.

Advanced Micro Devices gained market share against Intel in the x86 microprocessor business for the quarter ended December 31, according to market researcher Mercury Research. AMD gained share in the three major processor markets: laptops, desktops, and servers. That makes for nine consecutive quarters of growth for AMD.

As the report, “AMD is not affected by CacheOut, as AMD does not offer any feature akin to Intel TSX on their current offering of CPUs.Arm and IBM do have a feature similar to Intel TSX, but we are currently unaware of whether any of their products are affected. We are also unaware of any other attack vectors to exploit CacheOut.”

Microsoft rapidly fixes Windows search bar glitchedit

A large portion of Windows 10 users began taking to social media to report that they were encountering issues with the OS’s search functionality. Several websites such as ZDNet and others were quick to pick up on this issue when it first started taking place on Wednesday morning. Users reported that when clicking the magnifying glass icon to open the Search function, the window was completely blank.
