AMD Expands 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen Desktop Processor Family (PROACTIVE)edit
AMD has announced the newest additions to the 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen desktop processor family, the AMD Ryzen 3 3100 and AMD Ryzen 3 3300X processors and AMD B550 Chipset for Socket AM4 designed for 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen desktop processors with over 60 designs in development.

AMD’s Radeon RX 5600M is Faster than both the NVIDIA GTX 1650 & 1660 Ti; On Par with the RTX 2060 (Mobile)edit
AMD’s Radeon RX 5600M GPUs are expected to be paired alongside the Ryzen 4000 “Renoir” notebooks, bringing the fight to NVIDIA’s GTX 1650 and 1660 Ti mobile graphics chips. Although we haven’t been able to test the 5500M or 5600M just yet, we do have a few benchmark scores on hand. The results are quite encouraging, with the RX 5600M beating both the GeForce GTX 1650 as well as the 1660 Ti by a sound margin, and leveling with the RTX 2060 (mobility).

The newly launched Acer 5 (2020) will include AMD’s Ryzen 4000 APUs (up to the 4800H), but on the GPU side, you’ll be limited to the GTX 1660 Ti. Intel’s 10th Gen Comet Lake-H (up to Core i7-10750H) based laptops, however, will come with discrete GPU options up to an RTX 2060.
