AMD Ryzen 3 3100, 3300X quad-core processors to launch soon starting at $99 (PROACTIVE)edit

A major element of the current AMD Zen 2 gaming processors is its towering price. With the cheapest option of the AMD Ryzen 5 3600 costs $199 (about Rs 15,280), the processors are out of the budget of a lot of users wanting to build custom gaming PCs on a budget. To fill this void of the price point, AMD is set to launch two new processors that will be much cheaper, starting at $99 (about Rs 7,598).

AMD’s Zen2 desktop CPU lineup has got two new additions — the AMD Ryzen 3100 and AMD Ryzen 3300x. Both CPUs offer a four-core, eight-thread design with support for PCIe Gen 4.0 with lower TDP compared to the competition from Intel. These CPUs are made for the entry-level market and they are also capable of handling gaming, as they offer higher boost clock speeds. These processors will be the go-to option for those, who want to build a gaming PC under Rs. 50,000 and here are the details.

Acer Nitro 5 with AMD RYZEN 7 4800H CPU to only get low-end GPU optionsedit

Acer had earlier announced the refresh of the Acer Nitro 5 2020, featuring Intel’s latest 10th generation processors and powerful Nvidia GPUs. The laptop will now come with up to an Intel Core i7-10750H processor and up to an Nvidia RTX 2060 GPU. Acer has now announced that they will be launching an AMD Ryzen powered version of the Nitro 5 2020 as well, but it will not be getting a high-end GPU like its Intel counterpart.

HP to provide free educational content to students, teachers for online classesedit

PC and printer major HP Inc. on Wednesday announced its partnership with educational content provider Gamooz in India to provide free resources to educators and students who have transitioned to remote learning. The company in partnership with Gamooz will provide access to educational content to its customers, from worksheets to 2D Augmented Reality content supported by the Gamooz app to make learning more engaging and fun.

Acer Predator Helios 300 (₹1,29,999).  The beast in question is the Acer Predator Helios 300 with a 7th-gen Intel i5 processor, 8GB of RAM, 128GB SSD, 1TB HDD storage and an Nvidia 1050Ti graphics card. his was intended to be my one-stop-shop gaming machine, and yes, I am aware the specifications are not high enough to run modern AAA games as smoothly as intended, but as a fan of older games like Assassin’s Creed 2, this machine was perfect for me.
