However, OEMs are (for reasons unknown) pairing the APUs with GPUs that make little to no sense. This is something I’ve covered before as well. Today, we have a 3DMark benchmark (shared by _rogame), that once again highlights the issue. Here, we’ve got a Ryzen 7 4700U laptop with Vega 7 graphics, paired with an NVIDIA MX250 dGPU. The latter is just over 10% faster than the integrated GPU available on the APU:

The iGPU can also boost up to 1100MHz to match AMD’s Vega 10 performance.

Asus to launch new laptops in India to cater to work-from-home demandedit

Asus to launch new laptops in India to cater to work-from-home demandedit

ASUS aims to resume new PC launches in India from Juneedit
Despite the disruptions owing to the COVID-19 pandemic on global supply chain, Taiwanese electronics major ASUS expects a surge in demand for laptops in India once the lockdown is lifted, even as the company prepares for a couple of launches in June this year, a top company executive has said.
