While it’s too early to be sure of anything, this can be seen as an attempt to tackle AMD’s return to the high-end graphics card market. The upcoming PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles will both be based on the RDNA 2 design and like the Navi 2x GPUs will include hardware-level ray-tracing support.
