Motherboard makers are taking no chances with the upcoming B550 chipsets. Most boards, even the cheapest models are going to support all four generations of Ryzen CPUs, plus the accompanying APU lineups based on the same core architecture. This was confirmed by a bunch of BIOS pictures showing the ASRock B550 Phantom supporting chips across all three generations and the accompanying APUs as well.

ASUS has launched a new line of roughly palm-sized mini-PCs based on AMD’s 7nm Renoir APUs. These mini-PCs look exactly like Intel’s NUCs and are targeted towards the same market as well. They feature the 15W Ryzen 4000 APU lineup and are priced slightly lower than the competing Intel Comet Lake offerings, all the while being faster.

IT services major, Wipro Ltd, has launched a digital inspection solution to improve workplace safety and experience. The solution will be available to clients both in perpetual or subscription-based license model, with no additional cost for mobility. Built on IBM’s integrated workplace management system, IBM Tririga, “the solution complements Wipro’s existing EngineeringNXT portfolio in the digital transformation of business operations,” the company said.

KFC had created the KFC Gaming handle on Twitter and Instagram for the memes, and now has slid into the console wars with the rather swanky KFC Console. Taking on both the Xbox and the PlayStation, the KFC Console teaser promises that it will pull off 4K in 120FPS. The handle has revealed no other specs, but it does say that the console will come with a chicken chamber and cross-platform compatibility and a serious attempt at a new gaming platform

In South Korea, semiconductor exports rose in May and imports of equipment used in producing semiconductors surged 168%, trade ministry data show. Taiwan’s electronic-component exports, which include chips, grew 13.2% in May to $10.2 billion, even as total exports fell 2% from a year earlier.
