AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT vs Intel Core i7-10700K Review: Matisse 2.0 (PROACTIVE)edit
The Ryzen 7 3800XT benefits the most from games like Assassins’ Creed and Shadow of the Tomb Raider which scale well with core counts as well as the frequencies. Other titles like Metro Exodus and Deus Ex fail to see any notable improvement. Content creation workloads like rendering have always been AMD’s forte thanks to superior multi-threaded grunt. The Ryzen 7 3800XT erases the gains brought by the Core i7-10700K over the 9700K. The 3800XT is around 6-7% faster than both the Ryzen 7 3700X as well as the Core i7-10700K.

AMD Ryzen 9 3900XT Desktop Processor Review (PROACTIVE)edit
For folks wanting to build a new PC, the AMD Ryzen 9 3900XT is a fairly obvious choice over the vanilla Ryzen 9 3900X owing to the slight bump in boost clock speeds that you get. Unlike the 3900X, the 3900XT does not come with a Wraith Prism cooler or any cooler for that matter, so that’s something PC builders might want to factor into their buying decisions. Aside from that, the Ryzen 9 3900XT is a great processor for PCs geared towards gaming, content creation, 3D modelling and multi-tasking, in general. Moreover, the Indian pricing (INR 46,000) isn’t a dealbreaker.

AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT Review – The Gift That Zen 2 Keeps On Giving (PROACTIVE)edit
It feels like AMD took a page out of Intel’s book when they decided to refresh last year’s excellent lineup. The core advantages that those brought to the market are still here, only accentuated a little by the increase in clock speeds. Ryzen CPUs have always provided good value, but their slower clock speeds have always resulted in lower gaming performance when compared directly with Intel. If you’re on the market for an upgrade from an older Intel/ Zen 1 platform, then this might be it for you.

Intel Core i9-10850K spotted on Geekbench: A cheaper option for those looking for 10 coresedit
The 10-Core Comet Lake-S chip on the core i9-10900K will set you back by well over $500, but if you are looking to spend less, a cheaper option might be on the way. A Geekbench entry mentions that the Core-i9-10850K is in the works and it sounds pretty similar to the flagship SoC. The Core i9-10850K might be an OEM-only chip but if it hits the retail market it should be about $30 to $50 cheaper than the 10-Core Comet Lake-S CPU. If it is launched as a consumer product it will be Intel’s response to AMD’s 3,600XT, 3800XT and 3900XT parts.

Prices of NVIDIA Graphics Cards Expected to Soar in Q3 2020edit
According to Chinese media outlets, NVIDIA is gearing to increases prices of its mid-range graphics cards, starting from July. The reasons for the price hike are two-fold. Firstly, the Chinese mid-year shopping festival of 6/18 has resulted in a shortage of mainstream GeForce GPUs forcing board partners to charge a premium for the dwindling local stock. Secondly, crypto-miners have once again sprung into action, putting a strain on the global graphics card supply. Although the demand is nowhere as close to what we saw a few years back, it’s still substantial enough to drive the prices up by a notch.
