AMD Ryzen 4000 “Renoir” Desktop APUs to Launch on 21st July as OEM-First Partsedit
It’s as we suspected. AMD will be launching the Ryzen 4000 “Renoir” APUs on the 21st of July for desktop PCs. However, these chips will be mainly limited to OEMs and pre-built computers. There will be only three SKUs, namely the Ryzen 3 PRO 4350G, Ryzen 5 PRO 4650G, and the Ryzen 7 PRO 4750G, along with their lower power (35W) GE variants. The absence of Renoir from the retail market can be seen as a way to prevent the cannibalization of the newly launched Ryzen 3000XT CPUs which will sell at similar prices, minus the iGPUs.
