As the pandemic pushes organizations to invest more in securing their data, nearly one in two business leaders in India think that the upskilling workforce has emerged as the biggest challenge faced by their IT security teams, a new Microsoft survey has revealed. Among business leaders in India, 62 percent indicated that security challenges have changed due to the pandemic while 43 percent said they are prioritising investments in cloud security through the calendar year.

Tech giant Microsoft and edutech player Idealabs Futuretech Ventures, on Thursday announced A partnership to push forward the AI Digital Labs programme in India to build a future-ready workforce by providing students access to technology infrastructure, curriculum and training in AI and intelligent technologies. Idealabs will conduct workshops on cloud computing, data sciences, AI, and the Internet of Things for faculty under the AI Digital Labs programme to increase awareness. The company will also assist in strategizing content and curricula for project-based and experiential learning.
