MSI Alpha 15 now offers AMD Ryzen 4000H CPUs w/ Radeon RX 5600M GPUedit

Till now, there was only one notebook (Dell G5 SE) that featured AMD’s Navi based RX 5600M GPU. All the rest used NVIDIA’s GTX 1650, 1650 Ti or the RTX 2060. MSI’s Alpha 15 is the second gaming notebook to include the Radeon RX 5600M, offering better than RTX 2060-level performance at a slightly lower MSRP. It’s important to not confuse the new Alpha 15 with its predecessor which featured a Ryzen 7 3750H and a Radeon RX 5500M. As you can guess, the new variant is a massive step up on both the CPU and GPU fronts.

The PS5 will feature a custom eight-core AMD Zen 2 CPU clocked at 3.5GHz and a custom GPU based on AMD’s RDNA 2 architecture hardware that promises 10.28 teraflops and 36 compute units clocked at 2.23GHz. It will also have 16GB of GDDR6 RAM and a custom 825GB SSD. The PS5 will also feature 4K Blu-ray drive and will still support discs, but those games will still require installation to the internal SSD.

The Taiwanese semiconductor giant aka TSMC has been the pioneer in the silicon industry with an efficient manufacturing process and obviously its innovation in the field that has gained trust from its wide range of clients including Qualcomm, Apple, NVIDIA, AMD, MediaTek, and others. Our India PC market share surged to 10% since July: Asusedit

After becoming the third-largest consumer PC brand in the India market, dethroning Dell, in the second quarter of this year, a top executive of Asus on Thursday said the share of the Taiwanese electronics major in the overall India PC market has surged to 10 percent since July. Asus said it has an exciting new line up ramping up the gaming and consumer Notebook portfolio focusing on the dual-screen and thin and a line segment. The company said its strategy of providing consumers with both AMD and Intel-powered devices has worked in its favor.

Intel Promises that 10nm Based Chips (ADL, ICL-SP & SPR) Won’t be Further Delayededit

At the BMO Virtual Technology Summit, Intel VP for Global Marketing, Michelle Johnston Holthaus reassured that there won’t be any further delays with the 10nm based production. Talking to the host, Holthaus said that she has reassured OEMs and ODM partners that the 10nm roadmap of the company won’t be affected by the 6-month delay affecting the 7nm products.

It seems like the heatsink won’t be the only expensive addition to NVIDIA’s Ampere graphics cards. Turns out that has mandated all board partners to use a 12-layer PCB regardless of the model. These 12-layer boards along with a new back-drill process are essential for implementing GDDD6X memory and the new Base Design Kit, but are also much more expensive. The back-drill technology is also significantly harder to implement and as such will further add to the card.

Dell Technologies (NYSE: DELL) announces financial results for its fiscal 2021 second quarter. Second quarter revenue was $22.7 billion, and non-GAAP revenue was $22.8 billion. During the quarter, the company generated operating income of $1.1 billion, a 119 percent increase over the same period in the prior year, and non-GAAP operating income of $2.6 billion. Net income was $1.1 billion, non-GAAP net income was $1.6 billion and adjusted EBITDA was $3.1 billion. Net cash from operating activities was $3.3 billion. Diluted earnings per share was $1.37 and non-GAAP diluted earnings per share was $1.92.
