With AMD’s Radeon RX 6000 (‘Big Navi’) reveal just a few short days away, more leaked benchmarks are showing up every day. However, a new benchmark leak might put the as of yet unannounced RX 6800 XT to be faster than NVIDIA’s RTX 3080! The new benchmarks have been leaked courtesy of Igor’s lab and Wccftech. First up is Igor’s Lab, who are reporting benchmark scores from Firestrike Extreme, 3D Mark Time Spy and Port Royal, all running at 4K. They report that they actually received scores in percentage, which was then converted to tangible scores by benchmarking the other cards in the chart.

For the GPU we’ve got options from Team Red and Team Green. AMD’s RX 5700XT has a great price to performance ratio which competes against the RTX 2070 Super. It’s got enough juice to easily play games at 1440p60fps on High Settings with a bit of headroom. Now if you want to wait for a bit, you can also get the upcoming Big Navi GPU from AMD which will be part of the RX 6000 Series that aims to take on the RTX 3080. And given the performance of the RX 5700XT, the Big Navi GPU is bound to easily do 1440p and maybe even 4K.

Ryzen came in when 4c/4t was “enough” for gaming and going above that was not advised. This was mostly due to the high prices of CPUs back then. AMD dropped the bombshell that was 1st Gen Ryzen and the market has since changed for the better. We finally had a CPU that offered more cores and more threads for a reasonable price. While 1st Gen Ryzen took the market by storm, it still had a few things that could have been improved like single-core performance.

AMD’s Q3 Revenue Expected to Grow by a Third Sequentially, 42% YoYedit
AMD is going to report its Q3 earnings this Wednesday morning, with analysts expecting significant growth both in terms of the sequential and YoY revenue. After Intel declared its Q3 earnings earlier this week, bundled with a bunch of roadmap delays, analysts expect AMD’s progress to be in stark contrast to the former’s muted growth. The Q3 revenue is expected to grow by around a third compared to the last fiscal, reaching $2.56 billion, which is 33% higher sequentially and a YoY increase of more than 40%.

Yes this has a fast 512GB SSD and it has a bunch of AMD functionality to improve performance, but the RAM section on the spec sheet is a turn off and that’s how it proves to be in the real world as well. The AMD SmartShift technology works in the background to manage the task allocation between the processor and the graphics to keep the performance stable while gaming. This, from what I understand, remains active and there is no way to turn this off. Not that you would want to either.

AMD’s upcoming EPYC Zen 3 based processor will power the LUMI supercomputeredit
AMD’s next-generation Zen 2 and Zen 3 based processors are all set to debut their desktop-grade and server-grade CPU market. However, reports have arrived stating that AMD is all set to debut its next-gen EPYC CPUs and Radeon Instinct GPUs in the Large Unified Modern Infrastructure supercomputer Kajaani, Finland. HP or Hewlett Packard Enterprise announced the manufacturing of the LUMI supercomputer. The machine will be using the company’s HPE Cray EX architecture to deliver more than half the Exaflops of performance. The supercomputer is based in Finland and will be fully operational by late 2021.

Dell Latitude 9510 2-in-1 Laptop Review: A Premium Business Laptop For Those Always On The Goedit
The Dell Latitude is a business-grade laptop and is not really meant for content creators or gaming enthusiasts. Hence, there’s no dedicated GPU here which is definitely a bit of a bummer. The base model of the laptop comes with an Intel Core i5-10310U processor but we had the top-end model which is powered by the Intel Core i7-10810U processor. Obviously, the processor is vPro capable. Accompanying the processor is 16GB of 2133 MHz LPDDR3 RAM and an M.2 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD. It’s safe to say that the laptop is plenty powerful for most business-related applications and it’s going to take a lot to bog it down.
