AMD has finally announced the launch date of the much anticipated Radeon RX 6700 series GPUs. NVIDIA has launched many GPUs in the mid-range, and now it’s time for AMD to rise as their RDNA 2 based RX 6800 series GPUs were great, so the 6700 series is also expected to provide superior gaming performance.

A reference card render of the upcoming GPU has been shared by AMD, which suggests that it could include some of the design queues as seen on the previously announced RX 6900 XT, RX 6800 XT, and the RX 6800 graphics cards. This one, however, will be smaller with a smaller cooling system with dual-fans and a dual-slot design. The card also seems to have three DisplayPorts and a single HDMI connection but is notably missing a USB Type-C port seen on the existing Big Navi GPUs. The upcoming GPU is also expected to share the same Navi 22 architecture as before.

AMD Radeon RX 6000 series will be getting a new addition on March 3, the company has announced on Twitter. AMD announced the Radeon RX 6000 series graphics cards in October last year to compete with Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 30 series cards. The Radeon RX 6000 series currently includes the AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT, the Radeon RX 6800 XT, and the Radeon RX 6800 GPU. As of now, it is unclear if there will be one or more products launched at the event and where will it fit in the series.
