AMD 5nm Zen 4 Roadmap Leaks Outs: Phoenix on FP8, Raphael on AM5 w/ DDR5 & PCIe 5edit

Some more details regarding AMD’s Zen 4 based consumer products have surfaced. While we already knew a bit about the desktop form of Zen 4, Raphael, now the successor to the Zen 3 (refresh) in the notebook market has also been discovered.

AMD Epyc Milan Specs Surface: Up to 64C/128T, 32C/64T w/ 256MB L3 Cache and 4GHz Boostedit

According to specifications unearthed by a popular data-miner on Twitter, AMD’s Zen 3 based Epyc Milan CPUs will feature a boost clock as high as 4GHz for the 32-core part. Of course, this is the single-threaded boost clock and the all-core boost is going to be a fair bit slower, but it should allow Milan to level with Intel’s upcoming 10nm-based Ice Lake-SP which feature a sizable IPS boost over the older Skylake-class Xeon lineups.

AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT Reportedly Launching on the 18th of Marchedit

According to the French outlet, Cowcotland, AMD will be launching budget-oriented RDNA 2 graphics cards next month. Based on the Navi 22 die, the Radeon RX 6700 XT and 6700 will feature 2,560 and 2,048 stream processors, respectively. That means 40 CUs (or 20WGPs/DCUs) for the former and 32 CUs (or 11WGPs/DCUs) for the latter.
