First Quad-Core Zen 3 Ryzen Processor Spotted on eBayedit

The first AMD Ryzen 3 processor based on the new Zen 3 microarchitecture has been spotted on eBay, sporting impressive gains over its predecessors. The chip in question is a desktop APU, the AM4 equivalent of Cezanne, and manages to beat even the Ryzen 3 3300X which was the fastest quad-core part on the market, up until now that is. This is despite the fact that this is an engineering sample that runs at a lower boost clock with a much higher latency and cache bandwidth than expected due to the use of slower memory and modified firmware.

Intel to Leverage “Improved CPU Cache” for Better Gaming Performance w/ 13th Gen Core Lineupedit

In a rather unexpected move, Intel appears to have taken another page from AMD’s rule-book to improve the gaming performance of its future processors. According to a roadmap shared by VideoCardz, the company will be launching its 13th Gen Core lineup for both the desktop and mobile markets sometime in late 2022. Codenamed Raptor Lake, these chips are essentially a refresh of the upcoming 12th Gen Alder Lake CPUs, with some improvements here and there.

NVIDIA RTX 3080 Ti Reportedly Launching in Mid-Apriledit

According to a report sourced by MyDrivers, NVIDIA is planning to launch its Ampere flagship, the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti next month, sometime in the second or third week, with 12GB of GDDR6X memory and a slightly higher core count compared to the RTX 3080. Thanks to data shared by @kopitekimi on Twitter, we know that the GPU will be based on the GA102 die, same as the RTX 3080 and 3090, with 10,240 FP32 cores and half as many integer cores.
