Intel said on Monday its factories will start building Qualcomm chips and laid out a roadmap to expand its new foundry business to catch rivals such as Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co (TSMC) and Samsung by 2025. Intel’s 11th Gen Rocket Lake-S processors feature the first upgrade to the company’s desktop lineup since 2015’s Skylake. Dubbed Cypress Cove, the new CPUs feature a 14nm backport of the 10nm Sunny Cove core.
