According to a report by consulting firm Accenture, there was a 31% jump in the average number of attacks per company since 2020. Besides, successful breaches to the organisations through the supply chain rose from 44% to 61%.

IT Majors Tread with Caution on Return to Officeedit

UP aiming to become semiconductor hub as India expects massive investmentedit
Armed with the new UP Electronics Manufacturing Policy 2020, which envisages a total investment of Rs 40,000 crore in the electronics/IT sector and creating 400,000 job opportunities, the state has started wooing the private sector players to set up semiconductor units in UP. The prominent companies include Microsoft, MAQ, Adani Group, Hiranandani Group, Netmagic Services, STT and Agarwal Associates have taken the initiative to set up data centres in Noida.

Enterprise, govt, education segments to keep PC sales alive in 2022edit
Another report by Cyber- media Research (CMR), pub- lished on 13 December, said that tablet shipments in India grew by 116% sequentially during the September quarter, and Lenovo led the market with a 27% share. The com-pany also acquired a 27% market share in the PC segment on the back of large commercial orders, surpassing HP which was No. 1 earlier, and now has a 24% market share.
