AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D CPUs are out but strangely they don’t support overclockingedit

AMD’s Ryzen 7 5800X3D CPU samples have been spotted in the public, and it appears that one of them has leaked the first images. The majority of the image and the OPN code are blurred, but it appears that the first AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D chips have been released into the market. What’s intriguing about this is that the leaker who posted the image also claims it won’t allow overclocking.

The top tier version of the M1 Ultra was tested using Geekbench 5, and it received a score of 1793 in the single core category. The result puts it ahead of the Ryzen Thread-ripper 3990X, which has 64 cores and 128 threads and scored 1213. It is, nevertheless, the fastest processor in the multis core sector, with 25133 points compared to 24055 for the M1 Ultra.
