AMD confirmed that its Phoenix Point and Strix Point APUs will be powering the next-gen laptops with a diverse portfolio of core IPs. The Phoenix Point APUs will utilize a combination of Zen 4 CPU and RDNA 3 GPU cores on the 4nm process node while Strix Point APUs will utilize a combination of Zen 5 CPU and RDNA 3+ GPU cores on an advanced process node (most probably 3nm).

AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT, 7900 XT Enter Mass Production, Launch Expected in October-Novemberedit
AMD’s next-gen Radeon RX 7000 GPUs are set to enter mass production this month, followed by shipments of the GPU kits to board partners in September. The graphics cards are likely to hit retail during the holiday season with an October or November launch. As reported earlier, the first GPU to be launched will be the Radeon RX 7700 XT, then the RX 7900 XT, and finally the RX 7800 XT.

AMD 4nm|3nm Zen 5, Zen 5 3D, and Zen 5c CPUs Coming in 2024 for Servers and PCsedit
AMD has shared its extended CPU roadmap for the next two years shedding light on what’s to come with the next couple of Zen lineups. As already reported multiple times, Zen 4 will launch this fall in the form of the Ryzen 7000 and Epyc Genoa processors. These CPUs will be fabbed on the 5nm (TSMC N5) node and come with 3D stacked V-Cache (desktop and server) and Zen 4c (Bergamo) variants in the following months. The core counts will remain unchanged for client and increase to 96 and 128 on the server and cloud platforms.
