It beats 5600X in synthetic benchmarks as well as while using premiere pro. While gaming in 1080p: significantly lower performance  than Ryzen 5 5600X. Manually the performance can be increased. Single Core: neck to neck competition to intel 13400. For long time while you want to upgrade the CPU than  this might be better.

Ryzen 7 7800X3D based on ZEN 4 architecture, 8 core, 16 threads, 5 GHz Boost, TDP is around 120w, but the biggest component is the 104MB cache with both L2 and L3 combined. It showed 15% more performance while gaming in 1080p compared to last year’s 5800XD. The CPU is 10%-15% better performance than its competitor. Ryzen 7 7950X3D  has 16 core, 32 threads, 5.7 GHz Boost, TDP is around 120w, but the biggest component is the 144MB cache with both L2 and L3 combined. It beats intel 13th gen 9930K.
