IndiaAI Mission To Deploy 14,000 GPUs For Compute Capacity, Starts Subsidy Planedit

AWS, through its managed service providers CMS Computers, Locuz Enterprise Solutions, Orient Technologies and Vensysco Technologies, will provide 1,200 low-end GPUs, comprising 800 AWS Inferentia 2 and 400 Trainium 1. Despite bidding for 2,400 Nvidia H100 GPUs, AWS MSPs chose not to match the lowest bid. Meanwhile, Jio Platforms secured 208 Nvidia H200 GPUs and 104 AMD MI300X GPUs and plans to submit new, lower bids in future empanelments scheduled for 30 April.
