Christmas celebrations around the world: 12 cities that are litedit

Architectural Digest – Online

This December, along with numerous Christmas and winter markets across the island, Hong Kong’s Harbour City shopping centre has a unique video kaleidoscope on display. Walk through the world’s largest video kaleidoscope, which is 16 metres long, 4.5 metres high, and 4.5 metres wide, and enter a dreamlike Christmas themed world. Immerse yourself in vibrant Christmas scenery with snowflakes, Christmas trees and stars, and even a rainbow tunnel, which are refracted through a triangular mirror and LED screen walls. Each visitor can enter this Instagram friendly kaleidoscope for a period of about 10 minutes by making a donation of HK$50 to The Hong Kong Blood Cancer Foundation.
