Prestigious Prize For Bjarne Stroustrupedit

He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Cambridge University, where he is an honorary fellow of Churchill College. Stroustrup was elected to the National Academy of Engineering in 2004. Last year Stroustrup was awarded the Faraday Medal, the most prestigious award to an individual made by the Institution of Engineering and Technology, for “significant contributions to the history of computing, in particular pioneering the C++ programming language”.
