IEI Under Scrutinyedit

Millennium Post

The image of the largest Professional body, Institution Of Engineer India has already been tarnished as the recognition of the IEI is under severe threat by the HRD Ministry. The syllabus of the AMIE course is although at par with the BE/IIT and so long it was treated to be equivalent. Now, what is the reason raised by the HRD Ministry to sustain the recognition? I think the IEI should host an AIS inviting the eminent experts from both the academia and industry experts to find out the effective solution to address the big issue otherwise, more than lakh students’ fate will remain hinged on uncertainty.
