Global accreditation for SIMATSedit

The New Indian Express 

SIMATS, Chennai, secured the IET’s International Accreditation for four of its engineering courses. IET accreditation is an internationally recognised benchmark, awarded to high quality programmes that provide an ideal preparation for aspiring professional engineers. Computer Science Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering courses have been accredited with a validity of two years and will extended for three more years after 2020.

Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences (SIMATS), Chennai, secured the IET’s international accreditation for four of its undergraduate engineering courses. IET accreditation is an internationally recognised benchmark, awarded to programmes that provide ideal preparation for aspiring professional engineers. Institutions with IET Accredited programmes are eligible to apply for the EUR-ACE label, awarded by European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education.
