Union government’s National Digital Health Blueprint (NDHB) is expected to provide a wide range of data and infrastructure leveraging open, interoperable, standards-based digital systems, ensuring the security, confidentiality and privacy of health-related personal information. The key objective of NDHB is to create an ecosystem of technology applications. In the wake of NDHB becoming a reality, a panel of experts at the IoT India Congress 2019 in Bengaluru noted that India needs to explore Internet of Things based solutions to provide primary care to remote locations.
