Snowman to provide logistics service for IKEA’s food bizedit
IKEA, the world’s largest furniture retailer, which is in the process of setting up a 1,000-seater restaurant in Hyderabad, has selected Snowman Logistics as the logistics partner for its food business in India.
The agreement will involve Snowman Logistics, a subsidiary of Gateway Distriparks, managing the back-end of IKEA’s Hyderabad restaurant, as well as others planned in India.

Pepperfry augments revenue stream with launch of B2B channeledit

Pepperfry has partnered with builders and architects to design and provide looks for 1/2/3 BHK homes, which they in turn sell to home owners, receiving a commission for every sale.

Traders see 40% drop in Diwali salesedit
A nationwide traders’ association on Monday claimed a 40 per cent drop in Diwali sales across India this year, partly blaming the “chaos” caused by “glitches in the goods and services tax”.
According to the Confederation of All India Traders, consumers seem ready to buy only essential commodities without displaying the “flair to buy other goods because of a cash shortage in their pockets”.
