Urban Ladder posts 137.60% increase in FY18 revenuesedit
Bengaluru-based furniture and home décor retailer Urban Ladder posted 137.60% jump in revenues in the year ended March 31, 2018, according to data sourced from business intelligence platform Tofler. Revenue from operations rose to Rs 96.64 crore in FY18 against Rs 40.67 crore reported in FY17. The company’s net losses narrowed by 74% in FY18 to Rs 118.66 crore compared to Rs 457.69 crore losses recorded in the year ago period, the data showed.

Urban Ladder narrows losses, revenue doubles edit
Urban Ladder Home Decor Solutions, which owns and operates online furniture retail platform Urban Ladder, posted much-improved results for financial year 2017-18, after the SAIF Partners and Sequoia Capital backed company cut down on expenses. On a standalone basis, for fiscal 2018, the company suffered a loss of Rs 118.66 crore, a drop of more than 74% compared to financial year 2016-17, when it posted loss of Rs 457.96 crore, according to documents filed by the company with the Registrar of Companies, and accessed by business intelligence platform Tofler.
