AMD Ryzen 7 3700X Gaming Performance Across 10 Titles: Average FPS, 99th Percentile and CPU/GPU Power Drawedit

AMD’s Ryzen 3000 processors are being heralded as the best consumer processors of this decade. Built atop the 7nm Zen 2 microarchitecture, we got a markedly higher IPC, better single-core performance, faster clocks, and a large L3 cache. All this resulted in a massive uplift in terms of gaming performance among other improvements. Although other workloads like encoding, compression, content creation, and web browsing also saw healthy boosts, gaming was at the center of it all.

AMD recently announced that it has joined forces with the Blockchain Gaming Alliance. They are the first hardware manufacturer to gain membership. AMD aims to provide alliance members with efficient, high-performance computing solutions to power blockchain-based gaming platforms. This has major implications for the gaming industry with respect to security, ownership, and connected experiences. Blockchain technology of this sort is set to provide higher security and flexibility to users, developers, and publishers.

AMD RYZEN 4000 APUs for laptops leaked, RYZEN 7 4700U listed on benchmark siteedit

AMD has had a very successful year when it comes to their desktop chips, but for the last few months, consumers have been wondering as to when the company would replicate the same for its laptop chips. Well, we finally have our first leak of an upcoming Ryzen processor for laptops and it shows some very promising numbers. Listed on the 3DMark website we have the AMD Ryzen 7 4700U, an 8 core-8 thread processor.

FB Building an OS for its AR, VR Techedit

Facebook will build its own operating system from scratch that will power its hardware — mainly AR and VR headsets like Oculus and video-calling devices like Portal that currently runs Google’s Android OS. The aim at the moment appears not to create an operating system for smart- phones where Android share hovers around 87% globally.
