Microsoft has come out and confirmed the existence of its “second” upcoming console hours after it leaked online in all its glory. Although Microsoft is not sharing any concrete details just yet, it is making four important announcements today. To begin with, the console will be called the Xbox Series S. It will be priced at $299 (roughly Rs 22,000) and it will offer next-generation performance packed inside a smaller package – Microsoft is going so far as to call the Xbox Series S its smallest Xbox ever.

Dell Technologies in association with Atal Innovation Mission, an initiative of government think-tank Niti Aayog, on Monday launched the SheCodes Innovation Challenge aimed to encourage girls to create, tinker, sustain and innovate. Microsoft is working on an affordable Surface laptop. Codenamed Sparti, the upcoming Surface laptop will be aimed at students, reports WindowsCentral. According to the report, the affordable Surface laptop Sparti will feature a 12.5-inch display. The laptop will run on Intel core i5 processor. The 13.5-inch model comes with quad-core 10th gen Intel Core i5-1035G7 and 1065G7 processor options. The 15-inch model is available with AMD Ryzen 5 3580U and 7 3780U processor options. The Surface Laptop 3 is available in India for a starting price of ₹1 lakh approximately.

The upcoming Xbox Series X console is being claimed as one of the most powerful consoles. The console will be powered by a custom processor created for Xbox Series X by AMD based on it’s latest Zen 2 and RDNA 2 architectures. According to the company, it will deliver four times the performance of the Xbox One and enable developers to leverage 12 TFLOPS of GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) performance.

EVGA has teased one of its variants of the RTX 3090 running at an insane 2,105 MHz or 2.1GHz, using the EVGA Precision X1 overclocking utility. The advertised boost clock of the FE model is 1.71GHz, but GPU boost 3.0 allows for notably higher in-game clocks, most likely 1.8-1.85GHz in this case. However, the 2.1GHz figure teased by EVGA is absolutely bonkers. Keep in mind that just because the GPU is clocked at 2.1GHz doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s stable at this frequency or that it’s intended to run as such.

The HP 15 isn’t powered by an Intel processor, but instead uses a chip by Team Red. The HP 15 is powered by a Ryzen 5 3200U processor, a chip adequately powerful to be found in laptops for everyday use, even if its heavy use. This dual core processor chugs at 2.6GHz can go up to 3.5Ghz when hit with a load. Other than that, you’ll find 4GB of DDR4 memory on this machine, alongside a 1TB HDD.

MSI has officially announced two new gaming laptops — the MSI Alpha 15 and the Alpha 17 or as the company likes to call them — all-AMD gaming laptops. I was also concerned about the display of the panel as it was rated at 250 nits but with the AMD Radeon driver, I feel the brightness was adjusted and was enough for indoor usage. In this segment, I feel this thin and light portable 2-in-1 laptop to be a beast as it packs all 8 cores in a 15W TDP. I tried running both Geekbench 5 and Cinebench R20, in the Geekbench the Ryzen 7 4700U in it scored 676 points in the single-core test while scoring 3879 in the multi-core test and this is significantly low and I feel using the BIOS update things should change.
