AMD has just shared the first look at its upcoming Radeon RX 6000 series of graphics cards. The new GPU lineup will be powered by the RDNA 2 architecture, which will also be present in the next-gen consoles (PS5 and Xbox Series). Up until now, AMD has only shared few technical details about its upcoming GPU lineup. The only real information we got about it was from dissecting the information revealed about the upcoming consoles. The first look reveal shows a triple-fan design for what is possibly the ‘Big Navi’ card, which is AMD’s next flagship graphics card going against NVIDIA’s RTX 3080 (or possibly 3090).

AMD today announced the second round of high-performance technology contributions to assist in the global fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. AMD is now contributing high-end computing systems or access to Penguin-On-Demand (POD) cloud-based clusters powered by 2nd Gen AMD EPYC™ and AMD Radeon Instinct™ processors to 21 institutions and research facilities conducting COVID-19 research. With 12 petaflops of total supercomputing capacity now awarded, the combined compute capacity donated through the AMD COVID-19 HPC Fund would rank among the fastest supercomputers in the world according to the most recent Top500 list.

In a blogpost on Medium, Intel has inadvertently confirmed the existence of 8 core Tiger Lake-H CPUs. While talking about the new non-inclusive L3 cache, Boyd Phelps, VP of the CCG group explained that each core in Tiger Lake had access to 12MB of LLC for quad-core chips and up to 24MB for 8 core dies. This isn’t the first time we’ve heard of octal-core Tiger Lake parts leveraging Intel’s 10nm++ node, but it’s the first time it has been officially mentioned by an Intel executive.

The Mi Notebook 14 surely deliversedit

There are plenty of low-end laptops out there that are relatively slow but are just about enough for someone looking at productivity tools (we are thinking of Acer One Intel Pentium Gold 4415U).
