This confidence AMD has in its 7-nanometer chips should worry Intel, which recently debuted it’s latest 11th Gen processors based on a 10-nanometer process. “When I see what they [Intel] are trying to do, I think they’ve got a different vision for wanting to push power higher… and I am a little concerned what that means for the battery life,” Scott Stankard, Senior Product Manager at AMD.

Honor MagicBook 15 reviewedit
Armed with the new AMD Ryzen 5 3500U CPU from last year, the Honor MagicBook 15 does look to give Intel a run for its money. While that has been mostly true for the latest-gen 4000-series CPUs from AMD, the one being used in the MagicBook is closer to the 8th-gen Intel Kaby Lake lineup which at the time was a notch ahead of AMD. This is one of the main reasons for the cost being low for the MagicBook 15 as it uses AMD’s GPU and CPU. That does necessarily make the laptop slow or cumbersome even while doing moderately processor-heavy tasks.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 “Paper Edition” and $99,000 eBay bidsedit
NVIDIA’s supply problems with Ampere and the GeForce RTX 3080 have led to a difficult supply situation: GeForce RTX 3080 stock is currently not available through official channels, with scalpers having bought out NVIDIA and AIB supplies in most regions. This has resulted in eBay pricing for the card going up to several thousand dollars, as scalpers try to make a profit off impatient gamers. Overnight, however, it appears that Ampere fans decided to strike back. Competing listings for the GeForce RTX 3080 “Paper Edition” (usually a drawing of the RTX 3080) are drowning out scalper listings.
