After much anticipation from fans, AMD has finally announced the Radeon RX 6000 series of graphics cards. The tech giants further unveiled the Radeon RX 6900 XT, their most advanced GPU to date. At the moment, AMD is in the midst of a hot streak. A few weeks ago, the tech company announced the new Ryzen series of processors, which AMD claims to be superior to Nvidia’s processors. And now, their latest launch, the Radeon RX 6900 XT, is set to compete with Nvidia’s flagship card, the RTX 3090.

The AMD RX 6000-series has been unveiled with three new cards, each offering more gaming performance than we’ve ever seen from a Radeon GPU. These are serious, enthusiast-class graphics cards, people. And, according to AMD’s own benchmarks, with sometimes faster performance than Nvidia’s RTX 3080 and RTX 3090. The first two cards will be with us on November 18, 2020, and the real big Big Navi card, the RX 6900 XT, coming on December 8.

Just before the new AMD Ryzen 5000 series processors‘ actual availability, we are seeing a lot of benchmarks and numbers floating across the internet. Both the upcoming Ryzen 9 5950X and Ryzen 5 5600X have been spotted on Userbenchmark, and now finally, we see the 8-core Ryzen 7 5800X in action. AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Destroys the Intel Core i7-10700 in Leaked Cinebench Benchmarkedit
As per a leaked Cinebench R15 benchmark, the hex-core Ryzen 5 5600X is faster than Intel’s Core i7-10700 both in terms of single-threaded as well as multi-threaded performance. The 5600X also manages to beat the 3600XT and the 3700X in terms of single-threaded performance, while just lagging behind the former by an inch. The Cinebench R20 benchmark of the Ryzen 5 5600X has also surfaced over at the LTT forums.

At the AMD launch event, the graphics processor company introduced three new GPUs under the AMD Radeon RX 6000 branding. The announcement included AMD Radeon RX 6800, AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT, and AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT which is the company’s most powerful and fastest gaming graphics card till now. According to reports, all of these new 6000 series GPUs are based on MAD’s RDNA 2 architecture specifically built for gaming and most likely as speculations suggest, the same architecture will be featured on the next generation of AMD Graphic Processors.

Suffering from bankruptcy a few years back, AMD was nowhere near Intel and we had only one ruler in every department, eventually, the high-performance market became stagnant. There was no significant improvement year-over-year nor there was an increase in efficiency. This helped ARM and a lot of other companies to establish themselves for mobile computing. However, that department became even stronger; the x86 CPU market never did really see a massive increase in performance. Until 2017, when AMD announced the first Zen architecture, it made a lot of noise.

Intel is planning to launch its 11th Gen Rocket Lake-S CPUs in early 2021 to tackle the newly announced Ryzen 5000 parts from AMD. Based on the new Cypress Cove core architecture (read: Sunny Cove on 14nm) and boost clocks as high as 5.5-5.6GHz, Intel will be looking to regain the gaming crown which it will likely lose to Zen 3 very soon.
