India IT, Business Services market to reach $13bn this year: IDCedit
The IT and Business Services market in India is expected to grow annually by 5.4 per cent to reach $13 billion by the end of the year, an IDC report said on Wednesday. In the first half (January-June period), the India IT and Business Services market grew by 5.3 per cent (on-year) as compared to the 8.9 per cent growth in the first half last year, according to the IDC’s ‘Worldwide Semiannual Services Tracker-1H20’. When it comes to only IT Services, the market contributed 77.4 per cent in the first half this year and grew by 5.9 per cent (on-year) compared to the 9.3 per cent growth in 1H2019.

TSMC Launches 3nm Factory; 5nm Capacity to Exceed 100K in 1H 2021edit
TSMC inaugurated its first 3nm factory in Nanke, Taiwan on the 24th of November, with risk production for the same slated to begin in 2021. At the same time, the mass production of the 5nm EUV node has been progressing as per schedule. In Q4, the monthly production reached 90K pieces per month, the bulk of which is supplied to Apple. TSMC is starting the mass production of its 3nm wafers in the second half of 2022, however, as already explained, these will leverage the standard FinFet technology rather than GAA.
