The Central government had released the last installment (December-March) of PM Kisan Yojana on 1st January 2022 but still around 48 lakh farmers haven’t received the money in their accounts. According to official data given on Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana website, a total of 12.49 crore farmers are registered under the scheme. Out of this, the FTO of more than 10.71 crore farmers was generated and the December-March installment reached the accounts of 10.22 crore farmers. Out of the total farmers whose FTO has been generated, the payment of more than 27.03 lakh farmers is pending and the amount has not reached the accounts of 21.67 lakh farmers.
