Claas Jaguar 900 gets automatic pickup speed adjustment

Claas has updated the automatic pick-up speed adjustment system on its flagship 900-series forage harvesters, so that it can better adapt to changing conditions. Previously, the optional add-on purely matched reel speed to the ground speed of the forager to give more efficient raking and reduce losses. However, when travelling at more than 5kph, the enhanced version also matches the intake auger speed for more consistent crop flow.

The company has entered into a cooperative venture with AgXeed BV to acquire a minority shareholding in its international-funding round as a mark of their commitment. Claas intensifies involvement with Dutch robot manufacturer

Claas has increased its involvement with AgXeed BV, having initially acquired a minority shareholding of the Dutch start-up robot manufacturer over a year ago. This news comes as Amazone announced that it has also become a partner of the start-up company, AgXeed. With the follow-up investment, Claas says it secures further access to innovative technologies for autonomous agricultural machines. In addition, a first distribution and service cooperation has been initiated with Claas Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH (CLAAS Distribution) based in Herzebrock-Clarholz, Germany. With its high standards of performance and durability, CROP TIGER has built up a faithful fan following in several overseas markets. Moreover, CLAAS India recently celebrated the sales milestone of crossing 10,000 CROP TIGER harvesters.
