The sowing of green and black gram might be affected in Pune due to slow monsoon progress, officials from the district agriculture office said on Tuesday. District agriculture officer Dnyaneshwar Bhote said paddy was the main crop covering 60,000 hectares. “Paddy cultivators will now start planting saplings after 25-30 days.
