M&M records sales of 58,303 vehicles in November 2022edit

M&M’s Farm Equipment Sector (FES) announced its tractor sales numbers for November 2022. The company’s total tractor sales (domestic + exports) jumped 10% YoY to 30,528 units in November 2022 from 27,681 units sold in November 2021. Domestic tractor sales rose 12% to 29,180 units while tractor exports tumbled 15% to 1,348 units during the period under review. The paddy procurement process which began in Kalahandi from November 25, is going on in a slower pace than expected. Sources said, as many as 16 paddy purchasing centres out of a total of 213 were operational in the district on Thursday. J’khand govt to provide bonus of Rs 10 per quintal of paddy on MSP to ‘drought-hit’ farmersedit

The Jharkhand government on Thursday decided to give drought-hit farmers an additional amount of Rs 10 per quintal of paddy over the minimum support price (MSP) for the crop in 2022-23. The decision was taken at a cabinet meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Hemant Soren. The Centre has fixed MSP at Rs 2,040 per quintal for general variety paddy, and Rs 2,060 for A-grade to be purchased at government centres for the 2022-23 financial year. “With the state’s decision to provide an additional amount of Rs 10, a drought-hit farmer will get Rs 2,050 for selling a quintal of paddy of general variety, while Rs 2,070 per quintal for A-grade,” Cabinet Secretary Vandana Dadel said. ...
