Punjab government decided to start paddy transplantation in two phases from June 11 and 15edit
The Punjab government has decided to conduct paddy transplantation in the state in two phases and announced that it will start from June 11 and 15. It has been decided to start direct sowing of paddy in the entire state from May 15. According to a notification issued by the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of Punjab by Special Chief Secretary K.A.P. Sinha today, paddy has been allowed to be planted in Sri Muktsar Sahib, Faridkot, Mansa, Fazilka, Bathinda, Ferozepur and the area beyond the Kandiali wire along the international border from June 11, while Moga, Sangrur, Barnala, Malerkotla, Patiala.
