The world will have nearly 0.75 billion hectares of farms (of the 1.5 billion hectares) that will be intelligently inter-connected by the end of the next decade. Artificial learning and Machine Learning programmes will add a new dimension to farmlands with enablers like IoT devices, drones, satellite monitoring and weather-based analytics, which will allow these farms to form a professional network to share data, interpret and derive learnings.
