Tech giants chart different courses for artificial intelligenceedit
Siddharth Pai
Until now, most firms have been using the Graphical Processing Unit (GPU) architecture, originally developed for video games by firms such as Nvidia, to build out their Artificial Intelligence (AI) programmes. The GPU is much more capable of handling voluminous data than the humble Central Processing Unit (CPU) that is at the heart of most computers that you and I are familiar with.

AIFive Things Time Sensitive Networking Does to Support the IIoTedit
TSN provides deterministic performance over Ethernet. The ongoing development of time sensitive networking has resulted in significant updates to both the IEEE 802.1 and IEEE 802.3 standards. Essentially a set of Deterministic Ethernet extensions, TSN is also the successor to audio video bridging—the IEEE project initially designed to support real-time media streaming within professional audio and video environments (such as live DJ sets).
IIoTWill India claim technology leadership in the region with 5G?edit
India for long has been a technology laggard in terms of adoption of mobile technologies. However, that is all set to change with adoption of 5G in India.5G extends beyond the mobile device ecosystem enabling services like Machine to Machine (M2M), Internet of Things (IoT), Augmented Reality (AR) / Virtual Reality (VR). 5G has the potential to unfold a multi-billion dollar revenue opportunity for Indian telcos by 2025.
