AMD to Invest up to $5 billion in Anthropicedit
AMD has signed a deal with artificial intelligence startup Anthropic for tens of billions of dollars worth of AI servers and will invest up to $5 billion in the company, the Wall Street Journal reported. The agreement covers up to 2 gigawatts of AMD’s next-generation Instinct MI450 chips, with deliveries set to begin in the first half of 2027, the report said.
