AMD Expands Ryzen 5 Lineup With Two New Desktop Chips Gearedit
AMD has launched two new desktop processors under its Ryzen 5 series, aimed at extending value options across both its current AM5 platform and the older, still-supported AM4 platform. The Ryzen 5 7500 is the AM5 option. It is a 6core, 12thread chip with a boost clock of up to 5.0 GHz and a 3.7 GHz base clock, backed by 38 MB of total cache.
