Thunderobot Master Launches With Ryzen AI Max+ 395, 64GB RAM and 120B Model Supportedit

The AI Master M7000 combines AMD’s Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor with 64GB of memory and an SSD-based AI cache. That combination allows the laptop to handle models that would normally exceed the available physical RAM, including 120-billion-parameter Mixture of Experts models. The system uses a special RAM-like solid-state drive arrangement rather than relying only on conventional memory. According to reports, the approach is reportedly based on Phison’s aiDAPTIV+ technology, which turns part of the SSD into a cache for AI workloads. That design targets developers, researchers and creators who want local inference without moving every prompt to a cloud service.

India’s chip aspirations face funding gap despite policy push: Statsguruedit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently reiterated his vision of positioning India as a “trustworthy” destination for semiconductor manufacturing. However, the sector’s growth trajectory highlights the challenges despite the government announcing two packages to boost the sector. India ranked third globally in semiconductor firm registrations between 2017 and August 2026, but the number of new firms has fallen sharply over the years. In 2026, the United States accounted for 48 per cent of global semiconductor funding and China for 6.8 per cent, while India’s share stood at just 0.6 per cent.
